Privacy
What this site collects, when, and how to change your mind. Short, because there is not much of it.
What is collected
This site uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC as processor) to count visits and see which sections get read. It records the pages you view, the country you connect from, your browser and device type, and the site that referred you. It does not collect names, email addresses, or anything you type, because there is nothing to type here.
What happens before you choose
Until you make a choice in the cookie banner, the analytics tag runs in consent-denied mode: it sends cookieless pings that carry no identifier, and it sets no cookies. These pings let the site count a visit without recognising you, on this visit or any later one.
If you accept
Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies (_ga and _ga_*) to tell returning visitors from new ones. Nothing else is set.
If you decline
The analytics script does not load at all, on this pageview or any future one. Declining is remembered in your browser's local storage and nothing further is sent, including cookieless pings: a stated refusal is honoured in full, not reinterpreted.
Change your choice
and the banner will ask again.
Everything else
No advertising, no cross-site tracking, no fingerprinting, no third-party embeds, and no data sold or shared beyond the processor named above. The site is static files. Questions: hello@runnerbench.com.
